This is my favorite method for adding a key pair to my droplets.
Need a virtual server? Try Digital Ocean! They have a new pricing and hardware structure that is awesome! SSH authentication using keys is much more secure that password based authentication! Use this quick guide to get up and going with key based authentication when you spin up your droplet! Then when you don’t need SSH disable it via the firewall!! Do some Googling on Key Management!
