Ubiquiti System Builder

Build Your Ubiquiti / UniFi System

Answer a few questions and we'll generate a bill of materials with links to the Ubiquiti Store.

Planning presets quickly populate common starting points. You can still change any field before generating the BOM.

Basics

Profiles apply your preferred stack (product overrides). Client-friendly hides some technical fields; installer detail includes SKUs/handles and notes.
Using 60% of client devices active at once for capacity comparisons.
Multi‑gig means your wired devices can link faster than 1GbE (typically 2.5GbE or 5GbE) when both ends support it and your cabling is suitable (often Cat6/Cat6A). If enabled, we'll recommend multi‑gig switches where it makes sense.

Clients

IoT devices

Used for port and WiFi sizing estimates. If you know exact port/AP needs, override those fields directly.

Multi-site / Campus

Each site can have its own users/sqft/floors/cameras/phones. Sqft should be total indoor area for that site (all floors combined). The BOM is generated from totals.

Ports & PoE

Leave 0 to auto-estimate based on APs/cameras/phones/signage. Leave 0 to estimate using the value below.

WiFi

These fields help right-size indoor AP recommendations so homes do not get over-recommended.

Cameras

Storage estimate

Leave 0 to use an estimate.

Phones

Door Access

Access hardware is added using the Product Map (Access Hub / Reader / Intercom). If you prefer different models, update them in the admin Product Map.

Accessories checklist

Optional “don’t forget” items. These are added to the BOM when checked.
