Cat5e Cable Speed
Cat5e cables support network speeds up to 1 Gbps @ 100m and are widely used in common network setups. 2.5 Gbps and 5 Gbps possible.
Cat6 Cable Performance
Cat6 cables provide improved performance supporting speeds up to 10 Gbps over shorter distances (55m)
Cat6a Cable Advantages
Cat6a cables extend 10 Gbps speeds over longer distances (100m) with enhanced shielding for better signal quality.
We would look at fiber after these if you need fast speeds although some would tell you to use Cat7 and Cat8…..
